Links, hobbies, etc.

The University of Georgia currently has an enrollment of about 34,000 students. It is growing rapidly, and its new facilities including sports and performing arts centers are first rate.
My main hobby is ham radio . I am licensed as NO9E in USA and as SP8FWB in Poland. Also operated as VK2ISF in Australia and as portable/NO9E from many other countries on 6 continents. My stationary equipment is Yaesu Mark V Field with TenTec Centurion amplifier, a 5-band 2-el cubical Quad for 10-20m, a 2 x 23m dipole fed by ladderline for 30-160m, other dipoles + verticals including one for 160m. A mobile/portable setup is FT-100 + ATAS-100 with slingshot for portable antenna installations. A recent addition is IC-7000. The real portable setup is Elecraft K2 with Li-Ion batteries (weight with batteries and antenna tuner  < 2 kg). My DXCC count as of 03/06/2008 is about 332 wkd and 310 cfm.
I also enjoy hiking in the mountains, swimming and playing bridge.
