The University of Georgia currently has an enrollment of about 34,000 students. It is growing rapidly, and its new facilities including sports and performing arts centers are first rate.
My main hobby is ham radio . I am licensed as NO9E in USA and as SP8FWB in Poland. Also operated as VK2ISF in Australia and as portable/NO9E from some 30 countries on 6 continents. My stationary equipment is Elecraft K3 with Expert 2K-FA amplifier, a 5-band 2-el cubical Quad for 10-20m, a 2 x 23m dipole fed by ladderline for 30-80m, other dipoles + verticals including inv L for 160m. A mobile/portable setup is IC-7000 + ATAS-100 with slingshot for portable antenna installations. The real portable setup is Elecraft KX3 with Li-Ion batteries (weight with batteries and antenna tuner < 2 kg). My DXCC count as of Novemeber 2013 is 332 confirmed with earned DXCC Honor Roll and 9B DXCC.
I also enjoy hiking in the mountains, swimming, skiing and playing bridge.
